Emerging artist, Katie Flack’s work evokes feelings of nostalgia. Painted en plein air, she strives to capture the fleeting moments of the landscape. Her colorful palette and richly painted scenes invite the viewer to experience the moment. A worldwide traveler, she keeps her paints nearby to capture sights that enchant her. 

 

     Katie has studied fine art at Clemson University and was introduced to plein air painting at a workshop in NYC shortly after. She has participated in various workshops and plein air events over the past few years that have inspired her to delve deeply into plein air painting. While participating in plein air events she has received awards including Best New Plein Air Artist.
